WHY ARE BACKPACKING HOSTELS CHEAPER THAN BUDGET HOTELS? ARE THEY CLEAN AND SAFE?

The concept of backpacking hostels has been in existence for decades across the world and it is now gaining popularity in India as well. Yes, we are light on the pocket but we ensure great sleeping arrangements in air-conditioned dorms or private rooms, with clean and dry washrooms, common area for engagement and fully equipped kitchenette. Our properties are cleaned on daily basis and if required multiple times everyday.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Our check-in time is 2pm and check-out time is 12 noon. Though you are advised to check the portals of each of the properties for more reliable information and hey, if you do come a little early, our common area is more than equipped to handle your luggage and keep you entertained. Use our free wi-fi or games to relax.

WHAT IF I AM UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE?

If you are 15 or above you can stay with us, however, you will have to furnish an original signed declaration by your parents in the name of 'Backpacker Panda Holidays Private Limited' that you are allowed to stay with us for specific number of days.

DO I GET TOWELS AND TOILETRY KIT?

Yes, absolutely. However, it comes at an additional price.

DO WE HAVE FEMALE EXCLUSIVE ROOMS?

Yes, we do have female exclusive dormitories.

HOW CAN I BOOK A CAR PICKUP TO THE HOSTEL?

I AM A LOCAL RESIDENT. CAN I STAY WITH BACKPACKER PANDA?

Unfortunately no, if you are resident of the same town/city as the property, you cannot stay at the Backpacker Panda locations.

HOW TO BOOK A BED AT BACKPACKER PANDA?

It’s been never so easy to book a bed with us. Simply go to our home page and add your destination, dates you want to stay with us and number of people and follow the booking process and payment.

CAN ME AND MY FRIENDS/FAMILY BE ENSURED TO GET THE SAME ROOM?

We would try our best to accommodate you in the same room, however, it cannot be promised.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE I CAN BOOK FOR?

You can book for a maximum number of 6 people. Any number above 6 and you'll have to talk to our corresponding Backpacker Panda executive before making a group booking or contact us at:

IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD OR ONLINE BANKING TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Yes. This is a mandatory requirement to make a booking with us. Even if you walk into our property and we have a place for you, you will need to book it online. Sure, we have free internet and computer at all our locations to help you with that.

ARE MY CARD OR NET BANKING DETAILS SAFE?

Absolutely. We have taken every security measure and complied with Information Technology Act to ensure that your data stays protected.

IS PAN CARD ACCEPTED AS A VALID IDENTITY PROOF?

Unfortunately, no. You need to furnish either your Passport, Driving License, Voter ID or Adhar Card.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL DISCOUNTS FOR JOURNALISTS?

Yes we do for your overnight stay. Please contact us by email to request for the discount.

What if I see the availability of the room type that I wish to stay in for the duration of my selected date range as zero? Does that mean I cannot stay at the hostel during those dates?

In case the availability of a particular room type is displayed as '0' for a particular date range, you can still make the booking by breaking it down into separate room types for the duration of your stay. Eg: While making a booking from 27-March-2017 to 30-March-2017 for a six-bed dormitory, if you see the availability on the last day i.e. 29-March-2017 as zero; you can go ahead and make a booking from 27-March-2017 to 28-March-2017 in a six bed dormitory and create a separate booking for 28-March-2017 to 29-March-2017 by selecting a different room type apart from the ones unavailable.


CANCELLATION AND/OR MODIFICATION


WHAT IS YOUR MODIFICATION POLICY?

Date changes (without reduction in number of nights booked) can be done subject to availability and applicable rates. All decisions regarding booking modifications are purely at the management’s discretion.

HOW DO I CHECK MY BOOKING CONFIRMATION?

You will receive confirmation email after the booking is complete. Alternatively, you may CLICK HERE to view your booking details with us. You will be asked for your booking ID and your email ID.

HOW DO I CANCEL OR AMEND MY BOOKING?

In order to cancel or amend your booking you need to contact us at . Reservations that are cancelled upto 24 hours prior to arrival date are not charged for while failing to cancel before less than 24 hours of arrival date or no shows will incur a charge for the first night. However, you are advised to check the individual listings for each property for more reliable information.

Group Boooking: Any booking qualifying as group booking (booking of 4 or more people) is liable for a 7 days cancellation policy. Reservations that are cancelled at least 7 days prior to arrival are not charged for, whereas no shows or failing to cancel in excess of 7 days will incur the full charge.

WHAT IS THE LONGEST DURATION I CAN STAY?

You may enjoy your stay at a stretch upto four weeks. You may return to enjoy your stay at our property again after a week.

WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE CAN I EXPECT PER BED PER NIGHT?

We aim to optimize our prices between 400 - 999 per bed per night.
